In no event shall Aggregage or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption,) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on Aggregage’s web sites, even if Aggregage or a Aggregage authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you.

Any claim relating to Aggregage’s web site shall be governed by the laws of the State of California without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Copyright Complaints

Aggregage qualifies for protection under the safe harbor provision of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act in two ways:

  • As a Storage System, Aggregage stores the content of RSS feeds and a single “thumbnail” image from the target article, if one is present [Sec. 512(c)].
  • As an Information Location Tool, Aggregage allows RSS feed content to be found via topics and date ranges [Sec. 512(d)].

It is our policy to honor all takedown requests that comply with the requirements of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable intellectual property laws.

If you believe that your work has been copied and is accessible on Aggregage in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, or that Aggregage contains links or other references to another online location that contains material or activity that infringes your copyright rights, you may notify Aggregage by providing the following information (as required by the Online Copyright Infringement Liability Limitation Act of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. sec. 512) to our copyright agent set forth below:

10. Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Aggregage collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the http://www.aggregage.com web sites (“Sites”). This privacy policy applies to the Sites and all products and services offered by Aggregage.

We may collect personally identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register on the site, subscribe to the newsletter, respond to a survey, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Sites. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, mailing address, phone number. Users may, however, visit our Sites anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. 19. Google Adsense

Some of the ads may be served by Google. Google’s use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to Users based on their visit to our Sites and other sites on the Internet.
